How is the SynIQ CT Olympiad conducted?
It is held online, on a single day, with separate time slots for Grade 3, Grade 4 and Grade 5. It runs in a normal web browser on any computer or tablet with internet — no special software or app.
What is the syllabus?
The same computational-thinking skills students already practise on SynIQ — Pattern Recognition, Abstraction, Decomposition and Algorithmic Thinking — set within your grade’s Maths and EVS. Nothing extra to memorise; the full syllabus is on the site.
When is the exam and what is the registration fee?
The exact exam date and the registration fee are announced when registration opens in November 2026. The Olympiad itself is held in late January / February 2027.
Who can participate?
Any CBSE Grade 3–5 student. You do not need a SynIQ subscription to take part — but students already practising on SynIQ get a discounted registration fee.
What do participants receive?
Certificates for everyone — Gold, Silver, Bronze and Participation — recognising each child’s thinking skills.
